The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years Class 1 experience
- Mountain and highway experience – Dempster Highway experience is a definite asset!
- Previous tanker experience
- Follow written and oral instructions in English
- Complete written and digital forms and documents in English
- Willing to travel for extended periods and overnight
Safety & Security Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract
- Criminal record check
- Drug test
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of vehicle condition and safety are monitored.
- Proper cargo securement and load protection
- Defensive and responsible driving behaviours
- Proper use and maintenance of company-provided ELD system
